| Dimuth Karunaratne: Leading the Sri Lanka side in the 2019 World Cup will be a huge opportunity for Dimuth Karunaratne. He, as a captain is only 2 ODIs old. He captained SL to win the test series in SA (2019) 2-0, thus becoming the first Asian to win a series in SA.
Matthews: Angelo Matthews is returning after a tiff with the board. When fit Angelo Matthews is definitely Sri Lanka’s best batsman. The former captain is the only batsman to have the technique and temperament to avoid a familiar collapse for the Lankans. |
Getting Thrashed: Sri Lanka’s current form coupled with the format means Sri Lanka have the possibility of going home without a win.
