| Match Winners aplenty: KKR are blessed with several match winners and proven performers in their squad. The likes of Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Dinesh Karthik, Uthappa, Kuldeep Yadav, Lynn and Brathwaite are all capable of winning matches single handedly in the shortest format.
Best Spinners: KKR possess the likes of Kuldeep, Narine and Chawla who not only take wickets but also are good enough to restrict the opposition.

Pace Attack: KKR have one of the deadliest spin attacks in IPL. But their pace unit might be suspect. There will be a lot of pressure on Lockie Ferguson, who will probably take charge of the pace attack. KKR’s fast bowlers took the least wickets and were the most expensive in IPL 2018.

| Shubman Gill: The young batsman from Punjab had a fantastic domestic season. Gill has a lot of potential but also needs to prove it day-in-day out.
Dinesh Karthik: DK returned to the national team on the back of a superb IPL season last time around, this team he was dropped/ rested depending on how you read it just before the IPL a big IPL is his last chance to stake a claim in the final 15 of the World Cup squad.

Spin Department Failing: Narine is returning from an injury and Chawla is not the force he once was if both of them are not at their best coupled with KKR’s weak pace attack KKR will struggle to restrict the opposition.
Batting department: This team consists of many wicket-keeping batsmen, allrounders and openers. What they don’t have is a top order batsman who can anchor the innings and has ability to bat under pressure when the team suffers early blows. |
